"Microsoft has announced that starting in January 2012 Internet Explorer will, like Chrome, Firefox and Opera, no longer pester you with update notices. Instead Internet Explorer will automatically download and install updates in the background..."

Wouldn't be so bad if Microsoft didn't insist on rebooting your entire system if it updates IE.

I mean, c'mon! It is a BROWSER! Why the hell do I have to reboot an entire system just to update a browser?

If it wasn't for that I would be using it as my everyday browser.
