I'm actually using TekSavvy for my internet service provider and overall they're great. A reliable service with decent speed, plenty of bandwidth at an affordable price. However, it seems they are jumping on the Rogers/Bell money train and giving way to the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications - Canada's regulator for telecoms, radio and television services) mandate. Rogers (AKA Robbers) and Bell (AKA Hell) both have plans that make them rich and customers poor due to the User Based Billing (UBB).

"Activision has apparently uninvited Dutch porn star Kim Holland from a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 party in Amsterdam. The gaming outfit was apparently unaware of Holland’s previous works, so to speak, and when it pulled her invitation shortly before the event. Writing in her blog, Holland said she was unpleasantly surprised by the decision and described it as hypocritical. Holland is a big fan of the CoD series and she seems to be a keen gamer. Holland then went on to question Activision’s moral priorities."

"Happy Halloween from the Google Doodle, which uses mammoth pumpkins and some pretty sophisticated pumpkin carving to send its holiday message. It's no trick and all treat. The Google Doodle often uses a static image when it temporarily revamps its home page. But Monday, users are treated to a time-lapse video showing huge pumpkins being sliced and diced and, as the sun goes down, emitting a flickering, ghostly glow -- and the name of the search engine, of course."

"It’s looking like a do-it-yourself (DIY) kind of Halloween this year, based on findings from a recent Bing-commissioned survey of Americans. According to the survey, nearly 40 percent of respondents indicated they are abandoning store-bought outfits for a DIY costume, with 43 percent of survey respondents believing that purchasing a Halloween costume you’ll wear for one night is too expensive (nearly a fourfold increase over last year’s 12 percent).
