I'd take the cash. Sure, I'd use 1/4 of it to buy a computer, 1/4 to buy a new mountain bike, and maybe the remaining 5k on a motorcycle.

I'll take the cash and build a nice computer for me and spend the rest on my family and charity.

Definitely cash, I could build a good system for 2-3k and pocket the rest.

Even if I didn't have a decent pc I'd build a new one for FAAAAR less than that. Really you'd have to be crazy to spend 10k on a pc since it's just gonna be outdated anyway... I'd rather spend around 1k euros and upgrade some parts every year or so.

and id use the money to instead upgrade my current comp even more so its just as powerfull as the 10K computer would be :P

Well, I have a little over $2K in my machine now and it takes on anything I toss at it. I am considering going form 2-way SLI to 3-way SLI though. I would take the cash I think though. Use it for upgrades to Kepler and Ivy Bridge next year and get some parts for my RX-8. Been wanting a Racing Beat exhaust and ram air intake. I'm sure I can find a few more things to spend the cash on too. lol

I'd take the cash, its like the same between a gift card to a shop worth $10,000 or just the cash. Its the same value just limited.

And then buy a second 6950 and a 128Gb Crucial M4(first thing on my list of upgrades)and the Roccat Isku cause i am pretty happy :D with the performance of my current PC :)

Take the cash, its the smart move. Take the cash spend 2-5k on a new computer system(s) that is sure to annoy the piss out of the ppl living in the apartments around me. Then save the rest for all those little things in life that need to be paid.

Cash, the only way I could justify a 10K PC is dual Xeons and a Quadro 6000, but since I don't need those, that would be a huge waste.
