I will be a gamer 4 life!
I think yes and no depending on what kind of game it is; yes if it's a game that require your brain such as more advanced adventure game but on the other side no since some games do not require much brain-activity such as some first person shooter.
I feel that gaming is one of the things that separates us from the Great Apes. :)
@rickymon I'm not 100% sure if there will be an afterlife or not seeing as when our brain activity stops on our deathbeds our consciousness will go with it. then after that, well... our body begins to decompose. (unless cremated) if there is something beyond death, then I suspect it would be rebirth.
But I have seen some interesting Through the Wormhole Documentaries by Morgan Freeman regarding the subject you brought up. perhaps one day in the distant future we'd create our own "Heaven"
virtual reality in a quantum supercomputer to preserve the minds of people who were about to die.
of course as of now, VR is only science fiction. same thing with Star Trek warp drives and what not.
Got my first console (B&W) in 1980 and have been gaming ever since. Have had many different consoles, but have been PC gaming for about 15 years. I am 60 this year and I intend gaming till the end and hopefully beyond.
Of course it is. We don't want to miss any good games in the future! ;)
Here's a secret... I'm actually 110 year old, but because I game I look like I'm in my forties ;) j/k
I don't think as gaming as a waist of time but as a way to work/exercise your brain. Maybe it helped the person in question and maybe it's just a funny coincidence but I think it helps even if it's 0,000000..(1)%

and even after that I hope there are even cooler games in heaven or hell whatever, actually in hell we could have overheating issues.
Heaven is the cloud, at least right now. SOPA, PIPA and ACTA will destroy your heaven.
What if your gaming includes massive amounts of caffeine..
I will play until I die
and even after that I hope there are even cooler games in heaven or hell whatever, actually in hell we could have overheating issues.
