This is good. I learned this should be done before trying to take your computer apart for whatever reason. Onetime I took my computer apart so that I could reapply thermal paste but, after everything was put back together some things looked different and windows 7 was flashing the "your copy is not genuine message". My copy is genuine however and I was able to fix it by restoring the system to an earlier time. Next time think I'll be doing this.
