What is the name of the screens?? can someone help look for them!
I have 2 GTX 480's and three 1920x1080 acer screens. GOD DAMN ITS AWESOME!!! But I do need another 480 to compensate for three screens. Better to go down in graphics a notch to play in mind bending surround. It makes games so much more intense!!
As a side note, I have a new tri screen wallpaper web site:

Thanks,
Jim.
do you think the should make porn in 3D with nvidia surround :)... it would ne fun :D lol
i think i will better get one ati card
How did you swivel the Samsung 2343BWX monitors vertically? In the unboxing you said it couldn't do that.
You can run nvidia surround using the 2k series as well.
2 questions:
a) If 2 monitors are connected to 1 card and only 1 monitor to the other, do the cards experience different processing loads, or does SLI split this processing evenly?
b) Does this provide better/worse performance compared to the ATI Eyefinity setup as Rodney demonstrated in an earlier video?
why isnt there a video to set up eye infinity or am i missing something iwould like to see one couse im bought 2 more monitors and i am kinda lost ,,, i got 2 5770 asus video cards do i need to conect the 3 to a ussb to dvi or can i just use the 2 5770 cards ??anyways can u get a video up for ati explaining how?thanks apreciated
All I need is another GTX 480 and two more screens and then I could do this, but it costs too much money.
Is it possible to have the two side screens set up so that the display looks like a continuation of the centre display but not folded towards you? example would be a window. the screens should still be slightly towards you but the display looks flat and then things should pop out like a pop-up book when playing games.
Is there something wrong with Mafia 2, because I always get a D rank as well even if my maximum FPS is high. Also very awesome, still working on my surround setup.
I would love to do this, but I'm getting an AMD cpu instead of intel. Not too many AMD motherboards come with SLI. Which one would you recommend?
That's a nice review Rodney. ![]()
Those are exactly the same video cards I have.
go and by a 42" or 50" if u wont a big skrenn
I totally understand though if you don't want the hassle of setting it differently for games and then the other way for business
Would the black border between the screens get annoying? If so, what would be a good low-profile monitor with less border?
Try setting it up such that if you draw a line (for example to desktop background) that has a straight line from lower left corner of the left screen to upper right corner of the right screen, the line will appear straight when you look at it, only blocked by bezels.

When you set the displays like you have now, the line would not appear straight

my illustration didnt work but if you press quote button on that message it shows properly.
Same wallpaper as me! :)
You are doing bezel correction wrong. What you are doing is great for work but not so much for games. You're supposed to correct for bezels such that pixels appear to go behind the bezels. This gives more immersive gaming experience when the pixels have to travel through the bezels instead of just popping from edge of one screen to the other edge of other panel.
Haha! That's so good! It is the first time i see you playing a game after all these years!
Yea, I game lots (well not so much theses days), just not on camera. I need to setup a camera just for when I game. Although, I really don't think people want to watch me game, I mean that can't be exciting.
They really should start making higher definition monitors; rather then throwing more monitors together to get a higher resolution. This is just my opinion though.
Hey Rodney i'm Bear7o7 and i want to know what do you think is the best eyefinity setup 3x2 Eyefinity or 5x1 eyefinity
The only real advantage over the Eyefinity Technology is actually that you can use more than one DVI connection.
The downside is that you need two video cards with the nvidia setup, but you would need them anyway if you want to play a new game on full detail on that high resolution (of course not if ot's a game like The Sims or something the like).
Thanks for the look at this....i'm actually going to be building a new PC for 3D surround gaming. I was looking into getting two GTX480s to handle the graphics processing of it all.
Yea, for a 3D surround setup you would definitely need a couple of GTX 480s.
