If you are looking for a mini-ITX case, but want something totally different, the Lian Li Pitstop T1 Spider Test Bench is probably it. This is one of these product that will turn heads. The overall build quality & design on this product is exception and is available in three colors, black, red & silver. It also fits a standard 3.5" HDD and ATX PSU. It's truly refreshing to see such creativity.
That IKEA comment made my day. As fun as Lian Li gets with their stuff. I wonder just how functional they think they are. They really shouldn't quit with these "test" benches, they make you think about the traditional case design.
This is a nice option to loose weight without any trouble and without spending hours for workout.
wow srsly dude.. I watched all of your videos and they are soo fking useless. I mean if you cant put a computer in there, or at least put some parts to show us it can be used. what is the point of talking so much sht about this case?!
Stop doing such videos. I find em, and many of my friends that I showed it to, find it useless. Suggestions are that you say something useful. Like the stuff that aren't there at buyers description and item details.
...... Stupid video.
im sry boo, i find his videos more useful than your comments. find somewhere else to be a fckin troll
Does it come with a can of Raid? Lolz
WTF is this lol xD
This "test" bench to me seems useless, not being able to accept a true ATX MB. I do like your reviews, as they are very through, however a rating scale might be useful, as I don't think I have seen anything but a 100% kick ass product. They can't all be all kick ass all the time. Lastly, I would really like to see your review of the Ultra Chilltec Black thermal-electric CPU cooler.
This would be good to test a Zotac board with i7-870 to see how far you can push it.
Hey Rodney!
Are there any instruction on how to remove dust on the motherboard? Because this looks to me as a fatal issue with this thing.
Nice review, as always!
MrBig
Bud, this is a test bench, not an enclosed case with dust filters ;)
Can of Dustoff an a soft bristle paint brush(clean) works well. :D
I look and then I look again and Im sorry that Lian Li Pitstop Spider just looks well stupid and come on I know the average person is getting dumber but calling it a spider? when it only has four (4) legs? really? I mean does education mean anything anymore? does it simply not matter what we call something when it has no similar association at all to what we are calling it?
i already said about the 4 legs lol
This is an amazingly complicated review you make very simple. What would be an interesting Mini-Itx motherboard to add to this?
Yea, and assembly really adds to the work, but makes an interesting video all the same.
Great review as always, but I really don't like this product. I think it's pretty goofy and not as functional as it should be.nou
i personally dont see any need for test benches besides just wasting your money hasnt anyone aver heard of the card table maybe lian li should come out with one of them then you might get my attention also has anyone ever seen this benches that have fan mounts on them one question ...why?
That does look very cool. Thanks for reviewing Rodney!
he always rate 100% kickass Lian Li products..his addicted
hey Lian Li spiders have 8 legs Duh (sorry i had to do that lol)
Interesting, but not for me. :P
I don't really see a use for this case either, given a test bench is usually for benchmarking and if anyone was actually so serious about benchmarking as to buy a test bench, I doubt they'd choose the Mini ITX platform.
Con
-No Space for Extra Fan
-Only Mini-ITX MB
-cant take normal DVD drive
-price
i think i rather put the motherboard on a plastic bag rather than buying this thing .
I think you should organise all youre video's
-videocard:
-ati
-nvidea
-hard disk:
-external
-internal
ect ect,
so if somebody consider to buy something he can easily search for yuore review, wich will make more views on youre videos
I am so getting this!!!
I'd like to see one accepting micro-ATX boards
can the legs support the weight of a massive cpu cooler, a Noctua NH-D14?
Thanks for another interesting and amazingly produced Review...
it's a pity you dont post these reviews on youtube immediately..
I'm not really a fan of this, but its nice to see something different..
XD! When I saw the name of the unboxing video on youtube I was like.. Wtf Rodney? Unboxing a box that includes software to benchmark your components using a 3D Spider is rather unusual. But after all.. it's a case :P It's absolutely the number one in airflow I suppose..
Hey Rodney, could you please fully assemble including the hard drive and the motherboard and all the parts together? I want to see how it looks when they're all put together. THanks.
Nice review btw :)
Recommendation: Don't show this to your young kids ;) My young daughter say this and kinda freaked until I explained it to her.

Nice review btw :)
And I for one welcome our new T1 Spider Test Bench overlords.
Very nice review rodney ;)
The case as such looks pretty nice but I'm not sure if there is really a use for this case. It's a test bench and not a super hardcore cool-looking gaming rig. I don't say that I think that only boring and plane looking cases can/should be test benches, but this is too much 'style' for me. But I'll wait for the video review for my final thoughts...
BTW: First 1080p video?
It's time to be an Inventor with Lego!
Build your mini ITX lego Case!
:D
lol
Is it just me or is Lian Li starting to turn into IKEA with their build it yourself benches. Do they even include a piece of sh!t screwdriver lol?
If it would be IKEA the whole thing would be made out of wood ;-) ^^
LOL IKEA XD yep it is just like IKEA, everything comes in a small heavy box!
Haha, hey Rodney, did you see at computex they made the spider walk?
Yea, but that one isn't the stock model ;)
Yea, but I would love if my computer could just walk around, I would just need some long cables ;)
Picture Video will be posted just before the video review. Now... I need to put this spider together, hope I don't get bitten ;)
