The Audio seems to have a very tight, almost slapback delay, is that encoding ? The audio sounds better than normal but still miles away from a dedicated (even budget mic) which is fair enough I guess.
How well does this run on a mac I want to know as I use both Windows 7 and MAc.

BY THE WAY:there are programs you can use to record what's on you'r screen.
can you tell me what the video recording format is? PC and Mac would be nice. I would like to use the footage in either Final Cut Pro or Premier (If I have to). Thanks

Windows 7 is beast. I have this webcam its great. what the users on the other side [receivers] is that it has great sound.
I felt lag, so its even less than 20 fps, how did you get to 30 fps 1080p?
Even with the "optimized 720p" I felt lag.
Best thing is it'll be great for the next stable release of skype which can have hd video chat. You can finally conference chat on a great camera that auto-focuses.
Wow so many comments first off what cam r u using is that the jvc cuz I think the web cam looks better but the frame rate is not as high, would you recommend this for video reviews and live shows and finally can you use this in your next show I would greatly appreciate a live demo oh sorry one more thing this or the Microsoft life cam cinema?

Lags to much for what I would use it for... I just use my photo camera to do video of drumming, for regular use this would be great but too many fast movements in drumming
Well, with the correct lighting as well as proper exposure and gain setting you can get around 30fps, but yea drums sticks move fast.

Well, $80 might be a bit much for some to spend on a webcam, but considering what you are getting it's a steal IMO.

well well depends if you use distortion on your effects or not, just try to balance the amp to a level that the mics will handle and it should do a decent job, ofcourse not the best and it will capture some room ambience, but it will sound decent for that type of stuff..
Well, it's VERY good as you can set the Audio Recording Quality as high as 48Hz.
Probably not Audio Pro level quality.
