The HIS HD 6790 IceQ X Turbo 1GB GDDR5 Video Card is an excellent product for anyone who doesn't want to break the band, but still have all the features of the higher-end products. Performance is on par with other video card competitors, but what you'd expect from a product in this class.
this is what i would buy if i wanted a high performance card. AGAIN, for me total watts used makes a difference to me. Nvidia is not allowed in my house.

i got a sapphire 6870 that in my opinion for 200 $ us seems the best bang for the buck
This is a rubbish product! To be honest, the price between 6850 and 6790 is a small gap. The 6790's power consumption is slightly higher than the 6850. Same goes for the temperature. I strongly recommend you to invest a bit more cash on the 6850.
I am using the 6790, and it runs great, No problem with heat or fan noise. I like it so much, I am considering buying another and crossfiring them, GREAT Bang for your Buck!

I agree with him. The 6790 is a chopped up Barts core that performs rather poorly for the amount of power it uses. For the exact same price the GTX 460 768MB matches or outperforms the 6790. Not to mention that Sapphire just re-released the HD 5850 for $140 on Newegg, which demolishes both the 6790 and GTX 460 768MB.
6790 just isn't a good value.

I checked in Newegg (USA) and I saw that AMD Radeon HD 6670 family of video cards are out; too bad the video cards in NewEgg will take up two slots due to the cooler. :(
this card is great but the his 5850 xtreme edition is soo much more worth the price, it costs the same as this one and it is allot more powerful, so his kinda put this card out of luck, but other than that this seems like a great card

Video card is kickass, as always, for the price point, brand, and quality of the card, especially for the noise level. Did you give the length of the card as well, as this is also an important consideration in shopping for an appropriate card?
I voted kickass cause you cant find better than this with this price tag... and two in CrossfireX is 512bit (!!!?) wich is awsome if you consider what you will spend for it. After the flop that was Crysis 2, i will not spend a small fortune on a video card anymore. I love this video card and im gonna buy it. In fact, im going to buy two of them...
