very good review, like always. HIS are producing very good performing products. The cooling solution on this particular card is amazing. The only thing I personal don´t like is that there is no backplate. I really don´t like to look at this ugly pcb.

Not a very aestheticly pleasing graphics card but its the performance that counts right.
Btw, how does AMD sell the 6970 when its more expensive and has less performance then the the GTX 570 ?

YouTube comments enabled on my 3GM channel because YouTube comments are 80% BS! Most YouTube comments are off topics, I really don't see the point.
I'm not forcing anyone to come here. If you want to watch my new stuff, then come, otherwise don't. It's really that simple.
i don't really care about the comments on youtube
and its true if i don't want to watch it then don't come, but the video is upload on your youtube account. but not viewable on your channel.
to watch it you must go to this site, forcing us here if you want to watch it. and it's makes you youtube channel pointless imo.
and this is not an offense I'm just wondering why
i just would be much easier if i can watch it on youtube directly.

I know it sounds heartless, but I would have deleted all of these posts. The topic has been said way too many times before. Rodney puts the new content on his main website first. After a few weeks he then allows them to be seen on his YouTube account. In fact YouTube people subscribed to Rodney's channel should get an alert of the video I think? I could be wrong.. We need the ad money to keep the website running, for without this website there is no point in going on and 3GM will be no more. So would you rather 3GM keep running or give all the money to Google that owns Youtube? People need to get off your high horses and allow Rodney to run his business. The fact is you still get to see the videos if you wait, or you can come here and watch the new stuff. As Rodney said before the comments on YouTube are mostly Trolling Spam, so until YouTube works to improve their setup we are locked in our ways.

Here it is expected that you post useful comments. Don't start asking why this or why that. Bla bla bla. Check the Q&A pages. There are all the answers you seek. Each review that comes out here will be posted on youtube after two weeks. Even this reply is off topic and I keep a close eye to every review that comes to read the useful comments. Like it or complain against a wall.(nothing personal) Tivon if you are reading this .. let this comment stay for two days then delete it. So if he returns he can read this feedback.

Rodney does not delete anything.. Even if I see 99% of a good post, if they say the words "YouTube or Comments" and they are Anonymous users, there is a very high chance I'll just delete the post without any thought behind it. I'm not being a tyrant, but put yourself in my shoes when you are trying to keep the topic or theme in relation to the product. What does any of this stuff have to do with the video card above and that is our point with YouTube comments.

This is a pretty cool card.
Nice cooling and an Lucidhydra chip so it can be used for multigpu gaming with any crossfire OR sli enabled card.
I like the feature but i'm not 100% sure why you would be pairring this card with anything but another 6970. Apparrently the performance when pairring with an nvidia card isn't very good.
A great great review ^^. Still don't love the design of the card. But it performs very well. Same question as below. 30 % fan speed and still 60 C°. That's pretty high. Any chance a 6990 will be tested soon ?
I can see how some people might be turned off from the Ice theme colors and fake looking copper pipes. I'd still use it in my system. :)

My EVGA GTX 460 does that, and it's on normal cooling..and factory overclocked 20 MHz, which is nothing lol.
Got to have that 1 extra FPS to beat the competitor..lol
