Cooler Master CM Storm Ceres-400 Headset is stylish, has great build quality, 40mm drivers which deliver good sound, decent mic & is comfortable for wear for extended periods. This affordable headset is excellent for gamers on the go as it's lightweight and rugged.
creative fatality hs-800 or storm ceres-400 3dgameman Which is better???
I liked these, but the fucking things broke after 2 months of normal use, snapped rigt above the left earpiece. Fucking garbage
worse piece of crap that I purchased in my entire life!
the sound is not good as headphones of the same price and the mic is the worse thing of the world.
Good design, solid build but i would like to see a removable microphone.
Impressed for the vendor and the price range. It looks like my Sharkoon X-tatic SPs... which I am most impressed with and have been using for over a year. Glad to see a detailed review of headsets, they are important to any PC setup.
Great design, solid build
Not bad, though earphones and headsets main issue it seems these days is braking where the speakers attach to the headband, from this video, it looks like over time, this issue might happen, sooner rather then later, though I like the look and that it covers your ears well, that and looks like the microphone will become finger print central.
Not sure why I don't see more headphones made of more metal then plastic of some sort, maybe their worried about headphones getting heavy but I don't know, I have a rather large headset that could easily stand to be much heavier I don't know, headphone need to be built stronger.
Oh! The other thing I was going to point out is the cable should be braided sleeved, to better protect the cord and help prevent cable twisting.
I was so happy with my Koss Porta Pro headset that I bought the version with a microphone, but the Speak Easy headset (jacks not usb) really sucked, OR the Koss headset did not work well with my Realtek drivers.
So I bought the usb headset Logitech (I don't really like Logitech) H530 and am happy with that, because the mic is really nice. It is comfy too. There seem to be two versions of the H530 by the looks of it.
Thanks for the mic test. My request would be to take a look into the new Plantronics GameCom 780 and do a video review if you can get your hands on it. I've always liked Plantronics but they've gotten a really nice set this time, moreso than usual. Very durable and excellent quality. Take a look at it. I think it's worth a review. http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/gamecom-780
Nice headset,is it possible to see the headset on your head? As internet users we cannot wear it :) Sometimes the look also counts!
Just took this with my front facing camera phone, so the quality isn't great, but it will give you any idea what it looks like on-head!

Haha! AWESOME! Thanks :))))))
Mic test:
Are you sure this is a very good quality microphone? Your voice sounded muffled with deep bass at the low end.
This headset seems pretty poor for their price , only 100mW and they are 50 bucks ........... , idk , i got my pioneer se-m390 for 35 bucks and they are 1500mW and the sound is great on them.
Could you possibly do a mic test?
I did a mic test, but forgot to include it in the video. I'll post a separate video soon.
Does this come in a USB form as well or just the standard stero jacks?
