The NZXT Phantom 820 Case is a true full tower case in that it is massive. It's also loaded with excellent features. The case looks stylish, comes stock with 3 200mm fans and a 140mm, but more can be installed. Impressive lightening system, 6 USB ports, fan controller, lots of drive bays, and many more features. This would be fantastic case for a hardcore water cooling setup. If you're shopping for a full tower case, check this one out.
Hello there! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say I really enjoy reading your articles. Can you recommend any other blogs/websites/forums that deal with the same subjects? Thanks a lot!
went from a mountainmods.com u2-ufo case to a corsair 800d. now i need to buy a new case after the move to united kingdom. this is a serious contender for my list
Be grateful you for a additional elemental affect up. Everywhere moreover may maybe anyone get with the intention of rank of in rank in such a exact way of prose? I be inflicted with a presentation incoming week, and I am on the vantage top for such in rank personal finance articles
very nice case and review!
I like this case a lot better than the original Phantom. I wish it had the 810 window on it instead of the side panel it comes with.
I'm not surprise they made a new version, I was really considering getting the first for a long time, I'm glad they changed what I didn't like about the first version in this version, the finish, in the first one that thing would attract so much dust and finger prints it'd be a job to just keep it clean, I would consider this case now but I got my sights on another case now and they didn't change or add enough to this version for me to strongly consider it again, I think one of the largest selling points for me now is remove able dust filters, though they did add dust filters to this case, I think they should of considered putting dust filters on all the intake fans and not just some of them or honestly dust filters on all fans, in case the buyer wish's to change push and pull air flow that the case comes with.
Though I will say I love the finish they have on this version and I really like the hue led controller this case has, something I hope one day will come standard on all cases that have pre-built in LEDs and honestly, same goes for remove able fan filters.
Non the less, this case would be in my top 5 cases to consider in future builds.
Edit: On second thought, after seeing the price, currently sitting at $249.99 with a $30 S&H cost, this case has dropped out of my top 5 and is now in my top 50 heh, I honestly thought they would of kept the price close to the first version but at their current asking price, its best to just buy the first version at less then half the price of this one and just deal with the constant need to clean the case.
so what would be your top 5 cases. need to buy one soon after moving to the UK
My top 5 would be
1. AZZA Genesis 9000
2. Antec DF-85 Black Steel
3. NZXT Phantom
4. COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced
5. Rosewill THOR V2
Give it a few months, the price will drop.
Convenient for anyone who wants to fit a mini-ITX board inside.
LOL... Can you imagine a mini-ITX setup inside that case...
Get the cables sleeved black, thus, camouflaging them. Now wouldn't that be one, enormous cable management due to the size of the motherboard?
Oh yeah, excellent airflow as well. ;)
I would have to agree with ya Tooeasymode. Love this case and everything about it for my new liquid cooling build accept that darn side window... breaks my heart tbh. I dont want that big fan there.
great review, the more I watch this video, the more I understand why they price it so high. How ever, that side window. I think should be much bigger. That design looks like the bank of America logo. Other than that this is a kick ass machine.
Thanks bro :)
