The Ultra 425W Backup UPS is really intended for the lower-end to average computer system that doesn't have massive power requirements. A lot of the high-end gaming systems will require a much more powerful UPS then this. If you have a typical computer system, this UPS would be an inexpensive route for both battery backup and surge protection.
