"Firefox add-ons are a great way to add features and improve security in Mozilla's browser, but they can seriously slow performance too. Now Mozilla is taking action against those speed-killing extensions. In an April 1 blog post, Mozilla product manager Justin Scott outlines a series of initiatives designed to minimize delays caused by add-ons. "Firefox performance is extremely important to our users, especially how quickly it starts up and loads websites.
"Mozilla, a global, nonprofit organization dedicated to making the Web better, is excited to release Mozilla Firefox 4 for Android. Firefox delivers an intuitive interface, unparalleled customization and support for modern Web technologies. To make mobile browsing effortless and fun, Firefox provides seamless and secure access to personal data across desktop and mobile devices, including browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs, form data and passwords.
"Mozilla has now released whats should be the final version of their new Firefox 4 browser and its now ready to download as a Release Candidate 1 version build...
It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's a Fox!? The plot thickens as Mozillas efforts to defeat the evil empires domination of global browsing continues..
Finally they have a beta release of FireFox with JaegerMonkey for Download.
"While it's impossible to sum up the thousands of enhancements and bug fixes both big and small, the Firefox 4 beta version brings the browser that much closer to taking over everything on the desktop. There are fewer reasons for anyone to interact with an extra plug-in or the operating system. Remember when people cared about whether a machine was Windows or Mac or a Commodore 64? Remember when software needed to be written in native code? Those days are fading away quickly as the browser is more able than ever before to deliver most of the content we might want.
