How long does a log-in session expire after I log into the website? It would be nice to see if the forum can show a status whether I’m online or not.
And to me, it does not look like this is a high-security website and it does not make sense to automatically log me out for inactivity unless I’m using a publicly-accessible computer which this makes sense. No other people except me use this computer and other forums have a “remember me” check box for logging me in.
I’ve noticed that the cookie session only keeps me logged in for an hour now. After that I need to log in again. It may seem excessive, but I will say that we have seen a LOT less spamming recently (and I’m the guy who has to deal with it), so I’m not complaining.
There’s that delicate balance between insecure and too secure, and they are still working on it. I’m just the spam admin, so I’m as out of the loop as most of you when it comes to site design.

I asked Zach to check on this again… Hopefully find out what’s going on.
Let us know what time this year he will be checking on it. Just kidding, but yeah, every day I come back I’m logged out again.
