Why, no peofile link?

Ok I am kind of new here & I noticed, no profile link. So I was like how do I view/change it & I found a thread around 2 years since last reply (before I replied). I ask why? This is the first forum I been to with out 1, I found out you do it by typing http://3dgameman.com/user/ , but still odd.
