8GB it’s as expensive as any capacity lower than 8GB, so it seems to me 🙂
i’m using 16gb of 2133mhz CL10 G.Skill, i do some rendering, and run 2 servers, that’s why i have 16gb and not 8gb…

I have 8 Gig for my system which is mainly used for Gaming and Photoediting..
It’s more than enough for me..
Two sticks of 4GB for a total of 8GB is what I got. Pretty much never use all of the memory no matter what I’m doing. Maybe I’ll upgrade to 16GB later because DDR3 is cheap but right now I’m looking at other bottlenecks such as video cards and drives.

4gb dual channel, came with my hp laptop..havent had a need to upgrade, same on my htpc which is a custom desktop.

I’m running 12GB via 2x4GB + 2x2GB sticks on my LGA1155 system. I frequently multi-task as well and have a apps. open. I usually idle around 4-5GB. The extra 2x2GB sticks are really helping out 🙂
Interesting poll, seems most have 8GB+.
16GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz DDR3, soon to be upgraded with the max 32GB that my ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen can handle.
Oh, and 1 gig of video memory on my Radeon HD6850. That needs an upgrade/replacement soon anyway.
