Silverstone OP1200 1200W Power Supply Video Review

Review #905 reviewed Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 – 0 Comments

The Silverstone Olympia line of power supplies are available in wattages ranging from 650 to 1200. I’ll be reviewing the Silverstone OP1200 1200W model which is more than enough power for even hardcore computer systems. The housing is steel and they include a very quiet 135mm fan which is recessed, but this PSU is extremely long so it might not fit in some smaller mid-tower cases. Also note that this fan is load controlled, meaning the more load on the PSU the faster the fan spins. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

AMD’s ATI TV Wonder HD 650 Combo PCIe x1 Video Video Review

Review #891 reviewed Thursday, August 13th, 2009 – 1 Comments

I’ve reviewed many TV Wonder products and they’ve all been very good, but AMD’s ATI TV Wonder 650 Combo PCIe x1 takes the cake! Why this TV Tuner product is exceptional has mostly to do with the 650 Pro chip. This particular product has two tuners, one tuner is responsible for receiving analog TV channels and the other receives digital and HD channels. It’s also capable of receiving FM radio. I should also note that the 650pro chip doesn’t require any cooling, so it’s a perfect option for a silent HTPC. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
