I noticed you wanted an animated desktop back in year 2014 eire1274, well I tried this software and I hope you like it, Futuristic City 3D is a screensaver that comes with an animated desktop feature, in case if you haven’t noticed this already. The downside is it is shareware, but don’t worry there are no viruses or spyware in this, I had already checked. Have a look around, there might be other ones you might like. 🙂
Thanks for the info, but I opted to use Stardock Deskscapes. I captured the display I wanted, made a custom 4K MP4 of it with looping adjustments, and it’s all good!
Nice, anyway Rodney was right about O & O defrag, I noticed Pro version 18 has TRIM support for SSD’s.
Windows has its own disk optimization tools but obviously 3rd party professional tools do it better.
They disabled defragmentation automatically for SSD’s too which is nice and a smart move, very impressed so far.
By the way, I took note on how reliable recent Hitachi hard drives have become. They just released a 6 terabyte 7200rpm helium chamber HDD, designed for 24/7 use. You’re probably aware of them by now, I was gonna go with a western digital drive until I found out about them, now I own a 4tb Hitachi deskstar HDD for mass storage, can’t wait to try it out. 🙂
